Methodology
The LEIE database contains 82.7K individuals and entities excluded from federally funded healthcare programs. We matched 8.3K excluded entities with valid NPIs against our522.9K Medicaid providers.
“Post-exclusion billing” indicates the provider's last known billing month in our data falls after their exclusion date. This does not necessarily prove ongoing billing — the T-MSIS data covers 2018-2024 and may include claims processed before exclusion took effect.
